Dr. Irfan Ali Motiwala completed his BDS from GDC&H in 1997 and MDS in 1999 from Manipal. He is a maxillofacial surgeon specializing on immediate implantology with numerous certifications to his name. He underwent advanced training related to basal implants, bone grafting, sinus lifts, ridge expansions and immediate implantology in research centers across Europe.
Dr. Irfan’s practice includes multiple dental implant systems such as basal implants, smile design, immediate implantology and smile design. In addition, he also has varied experience with facial reconstructive surgery involving the jaws such as chin surgery and menoplasty. At the Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, he worked as a maxilla facial surgeon where he had the opportunity to learn the behavior of composite flaps, healing bones and bone grafts.
He has shared his extensive knowledge in numerous research papers and articles related to bone manipulation such as implant planning and placement.Dr. Irfan is an active member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) where he serves as a diplomat, the Academy of oral Implantology (AOI) and Indian Society of Oral Implantologists (ISOI). In addition, he is an advisory board member of Quintessence International Indian Edition.
